Wanderlei Silva
Big Props to Diamond Thieves Body Piercing & Tattoo and Freedom Fighter Brand for bringing Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva to Scrap Live 7 “Bad Intentions”. I had the privilege to sit behind Wanderlei during the Scrap Live event after he had been signing autographs and taking pictures for well over an hour. He also signed as many autographs and took as many photos as possible during the intermission break between the amateur and pro fights. He was a true professional… he kept a smile on his face and greeted each fan like they were the only one vying for his attention. In addition to signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans, Silva also had work to do… He was the corner man for two of his fighters out of Wand Fight Team from Las Vegas NV.

I only had a brief chance to speak to Silva before the crowd kinda pulled him away, I found him to be a first class act… a very nice change of pace in this day and age. Much thanks to Freedom Fighter Brand and Diamond Thieves from myself and all the North Carolina MMA fans…
