1. 1st things 1st thanks for being here w/ us, Tell the readers a little bit about yourself and where you are from.
Well my name is Kevo Beats. Besides me being a music producer, I enjoy simple stuff like skateboarding, or just playing games.

2. How long have you been producing & what made you start?
I’ve officially been producing for 9 yrs. What really made me start though was when I was growing up. I was always the kid beating on desks, books, seats, etc. Then I used to beatbox ALOT. Then one day in 9th grade my boy, Demaris (Mars) Hargett downloaded FL Studio 3. And here I am today…….

3. Who and/or what have been your strongest influences on you and your music?
My strongest influences to this day are Mars, Kanye West, 9th Wonder, and just my life. I’m not trying to make my beats for anybody specifically. I just want people to like what I like.

4. This was your first beat battle right? What kinda thoughts went thru your head before,throughout & after winning the battle?
Yes this was my first OFFICIAL beat battle. Beforehand I just didn’t know what to expect. I had looked up vids on youtube to see how it was. It wasn’t to much to it really. After my first round I wasn’t nervous anymore so I just went with the flow. To win it I kind of felt relieved to know that my beats weren’t just trash. That people other then my friends liked them.

5. Who are some artists youve worked w/ and are planning on working w/ in the future?
When it comes to working with artists I don’t have a lot of names under my belt. I’m pretty much still under the radar. I’ve been trying to get up with some artists from JAMLA but that didn’t go through. I have worked with Scottie Flippen though. Other then that, I’m trying to get my crew off the ground first. BUT…..I am always looking for collab with anyone who wants to collab with me!

6. Is there anything you would do different in the next beat battle you enter?
Honestly the only thing I want to do different in my next beat battle is to bring more people!

7. Which battle was the most memorable to you and why?
Whoa….the most memorable battle to me was Carson Palmer vs. Big Chill in the first round. Not taking away from Big Chill but Carson’s first beat might have been the best I heard all night.

8. So I hear you still wanna battle CarsonPlamer even though he was eliminated. What the reasoning behind that?
I wanted to face Carson because he was a champ before, and I mean to be the best, you have to beat the best.

9. Ok enuf about the battles. where do you plan to be with your music in the next 2 years?
In the next 2 yrs I plan to be making a comfortable living with my music. Just enough to pay some bills, keep money in my pocket. That kind of stuff.
